Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. One image of a funeral party standing behind a coffin surrounded by many large flower wreaths in front of a church. At the bottom center of the negative in Japanese it reads, “Funeral of the late Mitsuko Fukushima / Tanaka Studio L.A March 4th 1937 at Los Angeles Japanese United Church.” One (1) glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. MAR 4 - 1937 / Name F. Fukushima / Remarks 12 8x10 B.W.” In the upper right corner of the envelope is handwritten Japanese kanji. One (1) small obituary written in Japanese.
