Description3 Photographic 8x10 negatives : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. All three photographs show the inside of a church during a funeral service. The church is decorated with flower wreaths and crosses. On the bottom left corner of all the negatives in Japanese it reads, “Funeral ceremony for the late Kunio Uyematsu / October 8th 1941 / at Los Angeles United Church.” In the bottom right corner it reads, “Tanaka Studio.” One (1) glassine envelope that the negatives were stored in reads, “No. 10/8/41 / Name Fred M. Uyematsu.” On the right side of the negative it is handwritten Japanese kanji.
