Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. Image of four men and one woman standing around a coffin which is covered by an American flag. A small sign on the casket reads, “13643 / Jisauji / Taoka / Co. K.12 Inf. / Died Mar 18 1936.” At the bottom of the negative is a caption in Japanese which reads, “U.S. Army Infantry, Company K, 12th Lieutenant. Funeral of the late Taoka Jisauji / March 23 1936 at Army Cemetery in West Los Angeles, Southern California USA.” One (1) glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. March. 23 1936 / Name Kusumoto / Order 12 8x10.”
