Description1 paged typed letter to Mary Misao Fujii in Long Beach, Washington from George Fujii, in Fort Lincoln Internment Camp in Bismarck, North Dakota on April 17, 1942. George writes how has noticed that the government is building a camp outside of Boise, Idaho. He shares his hopes that his family will go to Minidoka rather than Manzanar, worried for Mary as she has not been feeling well, talks about how he was accused of being against union labor and for selling oysters cheaply, predicts that he will be detained for the duration of the war but gives his wife the contact information for Mr. Fancis Biddle, attorney general, to request that they be reunited. The bottom of the letter contains a little note for his children.
