Description1 page double-sided handwritten letter on Eagle Rock Oyster Co. letterhead to George Fujii, in Fort Lincoln Internment Camp in Bismarck, North Dakota from his wife, Mary Misao Fujii in Seattle, Washington on March 23, 1942. Mary writes that she is enclosing letters which arrived recently, that Nish will be moving in with them temporarily.

On verso, is a typed letter from George to Mary, dated April 1, 1942. George writes about Mary's mumps, to be careful when working in the plant, how someone they know passed away working too hard leaving a 6-year old motherless while the father was interned with George, for Mary to take care of herself, as well as evacuation and registering with the JACL so they can leave as a group.

A purple stamp reads "DETENTION ALIEN, ENEMY MAIL, EXAMINED, BY ...., U.S.A. & N.S." on both recto and verso.
