Description1 page double-sided handwritten letter on Eagle Rock Oyster Co. letterhead to George Fujii, in Fort Lincoln Internment Camp in Bismarck, North Dakota from his wife, Mary Misao Fujii in Seattle, Washington on March 19, 1942. Mary writes to George to not blame Nish and other monetary transactions.
On verso, is a typed letter from George to Mary, dated March 25, 1942. George writes about tax returns, receiving bills, Soroban, Chinese-Japanese dictionary, and to collect bedding for when they are forced to move, and to lower Nish's paycheck or have him quit.
A purple stamp reads "DETENTION ALIEN, ENEMY MAIL, EXAMINED, BY ...., U.S.A. & N.S." on both recto and verso.
