Description1 paged typed letter to Mary Misao Fujii in Nahcotta, Washington from George Fujii, in Fort Lincoln Internment Camp in Bismarck, North Dakota on April 27, 1942. George writes about the upcoming evacuation in Seattle, how busy he imagines everyone to be, that Mary does not need to write if she has not written already as he is determined to live wherever God leads him; he writes to Johnny and Arlene asking how his dearest children are, to be careful, to study hard, as well as that he is always thinking of them. On recto, lower left, a purple stamp reads "DETENTION ALIEN, ENEMY MAIL, EXAMINED, BY ...., U.S.A. & N.S.".
On verso is Japanese written in pencil.
