DescriptionOn recto, 1 double-sided page, handwritten letter to George Shichitaro Fujii from Mary dated March 3, 1942 with Eagle Rock Oyster Co. letterhead. Mary writes how she needs George to sign and send her a letter within 10 days for the grace period and bills they need to pay.

On verso, George has typed a letter to his children, John Susumu Fujii and Arlene in Seattle, Washington, dated March 17, 1942. George writes how he would like his children to read the letter together, he knows that Johnny and Arlene have been good children for their mother, discusses how Arlene must not go to shows or shopping at night because it is dangerous, for the children to be careful and not to play on the street, how he's in a camp with Japanese and Germans, and the puppies the Germans raised. On lower left of letter, a hard to read purple square stamp reads "DETENTION ALIEN, ENEMY MAIL, EXAMINED, BY ...., U.S.A. & N.S."
