Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative: b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. Image of a large funeral party surrounding a casket covered in flowers in front of Evergreen Crematorium in Los Angeles. At the bottom center of the negative it reads (in Japanese), “The funeral of the late Teruko Fujikawa / 1936 March 27th image taken at Los Angeles Evergreen Crematorium.” In the bottom right corner of the negative it reads, “Tanaka Photo Studio / L.A.” One Glassine envelope that reads “No. Mar 27 1936 / Name Yukio Fujikawa by K. Isei / Remarks 9 11x14.” Written vertically on the right side of the envelope it reads (in Japanese), “The funeral of the late Fujikawa Teruko.”
