At the bottom of the negative is a caption in Japanese which reads, “Funeral of the late Tsutomu Koshimizu / February 8, 1936 taken at Evergreen Crematorium in Los Angeles.” One (1) glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. Feb 8 - 1936 / Name Mis. Koshimizu / Retouched 19 8x10 B.W. $22.00.” One obituary with funeral details. One note with a handwritten note in Japanese.
