Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. A funeral party surrounds a memorial photograph in a Buddhist Temple decorated with flowers. On the right side of the photo is a caption in Japanese, “Memorial service for the late Yasuzaburo Fujimoto / at Higashi Hongwanji Betsuin in Los Angeles USA / February 23, 1936.” One (1) glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. Feb 23 1936 / Name Yamawaki.” On the right side of the envelope is the caption written on the negative. One handwritten note on a piece of scrap paper.
