Description2 Photographic 8x10 negatives : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. One image of a funeral party inside of a Temple decorated with many bouquets.One image of a small group surrounding the open casket. At the bottom of both negatives, a caption is written in Japanese that reads, “The wake of the late Sadatoshi Kato / January 15, 1936 / at Zenshuji Buddhist Temple, Los Angeles USA.” Two (2) glassine envelopes that the negatives were stored in. The first reads, “No. 36633 / Name Jan - 15/36.” The second reads, “No. 36632 / Name Jan 15/36. One note containing the caption written on the negatives.
