Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. A large funeral party gathered at Higashi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. At the bottom of the negative is a caption written in Japanese which reads, “Funeral service of the late Kaya Yoshibetsu Tanaka / September 28th 1937 at Higashi Hongwanji Betsuin in Los Angeles, Southern California, North America. One (1) glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. SEP 28 / Name Mitsuushi Venice / Remarks 30 8x10 $30.00.” One piece of paper containing the caption written on the negative.
