Description(1) page letter written on recto and verso to Tatsumi Iwate from Lowell Trautman, with envelope. Lowell writes that San Francisco is like a ghost town, that he has a pretty next door neighbor, that he saw a news reel showing a bunch of American Japanese soldiers in combat in Italy, that it was good that Tatsumi got to his brother, Masaji. Envelope to Sgt. T. Iwate at 3rd Bn., Hg Co. 442nd, Camp Shelby, Mississippi from Pvt. Lowell C. Trautman JR., U.S.M.C.R. in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Postmarked on November 1, 1943.
