Description(1) page letter written on recto and verso to Tatsumi Iwate from Lowell Trautman at the U.S. Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point, North Carolina, on September 27, 1943, with envelope. Lowell writes that Tatsumi must think he's a pretty big heel for not writing for so long, he explains that he lost his address book in Jacksonville and had to ask his mother for Tatsumi's address, that he does his radio work from the ground and hopes to get a furlough in two months. Envelope to Sgt. T. Iwate at 3rd Bn., Hg Co. 442nd, Camp Shelby, Mississippi from Pvt. Lowell C. Trautman JR., U.S.M.C.R. in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Postmarked on September 28, 1943.
