Description2-page letter written on recto and verso and envelope by Iwai at Granada (Amache) concentration camp in Colorado Sgt. Tatsumi Iwate of the 442nd Infantry at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Letter written on December 6, 1943, about still being at Amache because they were trying to find a place where Iwai's family could farm the following year, how Iwai's family purchased 160 acres and cost $20,000, how George Matsumura from Esparto sold his land there and bought land in Coloardo, the anti-Japanese sentiments in Esparto, his 21st birthday on Thanksgiving, feeling like a kid.
