Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Nitrate Film. A funeral party stands in a Buddhist temple around a memorial photograph. Written at the bottom of the negative it reads, (in Japanese), “Memorial for the late Toshio Fujinami, killed in action in the Second Sino-Japanese War / 1937 November 13th at North America Los Angeles Nichiren Buddhist Temple.” One glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. Nov 13 1937 / Name Fujinami / Remarks 5/10 6 Duplicate $7.00.”
