Description3-page letter by Tatsumi Iwate to his brother Mas Iwate in the Jerome concentration camp on February 14, 1943 from Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Tatsumi writes about how Mas is doing, the weather, about recruits arriving in March, the Company Commander recommended Tatsumi to the Intelligence branch as a map maker, about the shortage of manpower, they will ask young men to enlist as volunteers for the 442nd, and letting Mas know that it is better to volunteer than get drafted.
