Description2-page letter written on recto and verso to Mas Iwate from Tatsumi Iwate at Camp Carson, Colorado on July 29, 1942. Tatsumi writes that he is glad that Mas likes the books he sent, about how Mas drove girls crazy over him by wearing geta of gargantuan class, Toshi informed Tatsumi that Mas is rapidly becoming an idol of Santa Anita lassies, that he is not doing well with his girl and that he assumes she moved to Tule Lake because he has not received a letter from her for almost a month, asks Mas to urge Santa Anita senoritas to back him up, about life in the army. On verso of last page, cartoon drawing of Tatsumi in black ink with initials "T.I."
