Description1 Photographic 8x10 negative : b&w ; Photographed on Agfa Safety Film. A group of young boys and instructors wearing Kendo Bogu (armor) as well as men in suits form three lines. At the bottom of the photograph it reads “Commemoration of the first Kendo Club Meeting at Los Angeles Maryknoll School / Tanaka Photo Studio L.A. February 24th 1935.” One (1) glassine envelope that the negative was stored in reads, “No. 35438 Feb. 24 1935 / Name S. Harada / Order 1 8x10 $4.50 / Remarks 2 [illegible] / Retouched 3/7/35 8 8x10.”
