DescriptionAutobiographical essay and other assignments written by Johnny (also known as Johnnie) Inouye. The assignments were completed as a part of Garrett Starmer's Senior Problems Class at the Tule Lake High School. In his autobiography, Johnny writes that his parents were born in Japan and that his dad came to America in 1909. He notes that his father settled in Washington, worked for the railroad until he became a farmer, moved back to Japan to marry his mother, returned to America to become a potato farmer, and after 11 years as a potato farmer, moved his family to California.
