DescriptionAutobiographical essay and other assignments written by George Yagi, dated June 4, 1943. The assignments were completed for Garrett Starmer's Senior Problems Class at the Tule Lake High School. In one assignment, George writes a list titled "The Ways of Changing People," and lists a few ways he believed you could change someones mind. In his autobiographical essay, he writes about how his father came to America in 1878 at the age of 18 to help support his family. He writes about how his father learned English, worked as a farmer, married his mother in Seattle, and settled down in the Sacramento Valley.
