DescriptionAutobiographical essay and other assignments written by Kay (Keiichi) Abe. The essay is dated May 13, 1943, and the other assignment is dated June 2, 1943. The assignments were completed as a part of Garrett Starmer's Senior Problems Class at the Tule Lake High School. In his autobiography, he writes that he was born September, 22 1926, and that he is 16 years of age. He notes that he doesn't know much about his family history. He notes that his grandparents, on his father's side, were fairly wealthy horse breeders in Japan, and that his father came to America when he was around 20 years of age.
