Description1 wooden case for quill pen. 1 nib holder carved from wood and painted with a clear varnish finish. The holder is carved into a flat elongated oval shape at the top. Towards the bottom of the oval the holder becomes more cylindrical in shape and then towards the bottom the shape becomes more octagonal. Approximately 2 3/4" from the bottom a 3 ring design begins. A darker wood sandwiched between 2 lighter pieces of wood. The top half of the holder is made from a lighter wood and the bottom half is made from a darker wood.
