Description5-page letter written to Tatsumi Iwate from Mas Iwate, last page is recto and verso. Mas starts his letter in black ink with, "Dear Serge! (might be)" and writes that it's nice to hear from Tatsumi again, asks if everything is O.K., T.Wada must be pretty unhappy this year and that it serves him right, is thinking about what to do after the war, asks if he should buy war bonds, no book stores in camp, signs off his name as "Masaji Iwate," On verso of last page, Mas draws an illustration of the horse stable with the blue print of their living quarters, points out where he sleeps and that it is one room with five guys.
