Description1 envelope; 2 letters double sided sent from George Najiri, G.K.N to Norio Mitsuoka ("Onor") on October 27, 1940. G.K.N. writes about little snow in mountains but being able to ski a little, passports for him and his sister to Japan were cancelled, her baggage sailed with the boat, a few Nisei sailed with just birth certificate but no boys, not optimistic about Navy job but studying for another government exam as junior engineer.
Envelope addressed to Mr. Norio Mitsuoka in Nahcotta, WA from G.K.N. in National, WA. Postmarked postmark October 28, 1940 National, Wash. 3 cent postage stamp in upper right corner. On left side, in black ink diagonally, "PASSPORT CANCELLATION". Envelope is cream colored.
