Letters were typed and/or handwritten, some on WRA letterhead, regular typing paper and yellow pad paper. All letters are 1 to 4 pages long and are about his observations of the camp life of the internees, administration, as well as his personal business and family matters. These letters were written during the 4 month period of temporary assignment between permanent assignments in the Corp of Engineers.
