Description1-page letter, on top center is letterhead of the Japanese Congregational Church, 801 E. Street, Fresno, California. The letter is assumed to be written to the congregation of the Japanese Congregational Church and writes about the voting at the polls on November 2nd about Initiative Bill No. 1, entitled Alien Land Law, that the passage of the Bill is a great persecution to the Japanese in California who were legally admitted to this country, rather than solving the problem. Gives six points to what the measure intends to do, the letter states that the measure is too harsh and severe that nothing will be left for the Japanese to live on, talks about the first Alien Land Land in 1913, how Japanese churches of Christ suffered, about the coming of picture brides, and the desire of fair treatment. Signed off by J. K. Fukushima, Pastor.
