DescriptionLetter from John (Sohei) Hohri to Harold Landon, dated September 9, 1942. The envelope is addressed to Harold Landon in West Los Angeles, California, and postmarked September 11, 1942. John writes about playing football for the first time and his 12th grade school schedule. He draws himself playing football, looking beat up after playing, and similar before and after caricatures of him going to school. He draws himself outside of a barrack in a winter jacket commenting on the recent drop in temperature and rainfall. He also mentions how they had to move their belongings outside of their barracks so that linoleum could be installed on their floor.
