DescriptionLetter from John (Sohei) Hohri to Harold Landon dated January 15, 1943. John writes to thank Harold for the shirt he sent him, and also indicates that he likes a girl on a girl's team called the "Windbreakers." In the middle of the page there is a drawing of John and a face blowing on a windbreaker jacket. On the second page, John draws three full-scale illustrations of boys he wants Harold to meet: "Moots" Kuramoto, "Lebowitz" Mukai, and Takehiko Murata. He notes that all of three of these boys are good gymnasts and mentions that his Sunday school class has been reduced from 46 to 20 members. John asks Harold what he has been doing all summer, and asks him if he could send him another sketch drawing. John draws Harold at an easel and the words "Write!" in large letters.
