DescriptionVertical black and white intaglio print on onion skin paper. Mounted on matt board. String for handing is attached to back with brown tape. Image is of a javelin thrower but not detailed enough to identify the person. Image is shadowy in parts but suggests a man in tank shirt, pants, bare feet with proper left arm extended and proper right arm held back in throwing position. The print is signed "Henry Fukuhara" in the narrow white border in pencil. The opeing of the matt is outlined with 2 rows of pencil lines. The matt board is signed on the front BR corner in pencil "Henry Fukuhara". It looks like his name was also printed below the signature then erased. Back of matt board is completely covered with brown paper. In upper 1/3 of back is piece of string taped across and held in place with brown tape. In BR of back is written in pencil "3-19-35".
