DescriptionWatercolor on paper. Paper has rough cut edges. Painting is mounted on cream colored matt board. Horizontal watercolor with yellow barracks, brown power lines and groups of people outlined in black outside the barracks. The foreground is streaked in green and rust. The mountains behind the barracks are shades of brown. Smoke from the chimneys on the barracks is trailing brown, then orange and gold billowing into the steel blue sky. In BR corner is a brown box with "HENRY FUKU HARA" written in 3 lines like a hanko stamp. Below it, also in brown, is written "Manzanar 11'42".
