DescriptionWatercolor on paper. Paper has rough cut edges. Detail work (outlining and lettering) in pen and ink. Drawings are in center of paper outlined in black and green wavy lines. a blank border about 2 3/4" is around the art. 4 separate paintings. In center is a grid in pale green, pale brick and orange-brown. some of the squares in the grid are numbered. Patches of green are scattered throughout. In upper left is a drawing of 3 large brown trees with guard tower, pink hills and golden/green ground. In upper right is drawing of sentry post and police station (very hazy) in shades of brown with power lines and golden road down center and blue/pink/yellow sky. In lower right is painting of a barracks in shades of purple surrounded by brown trees with brown foliage. In BR corner is a dark green box with "HENRY FUKU HARA" written on 3 lines like a hanko stamp and the date "Jan 23 '43".
