DescriptionWatercolor on paper and black ink on paper. Paper has rough cut edges. Artwork is in center of paper with a double black outline and large plain border (3 - 3 1/2" wide). Drawing in 3 parts. Bottom half is a watercolor painting of a reddish brown building (auditorium) with 3 rows of windows on upper half and small windows under white roof at ground level. Sparse trees around the building and sky is shades of blue. In upper portion is an architectural drawing in black ink of the floor plan for the auditorium with landscaping for surrounding grounds. Title in black ink "School Auditorium Manzanar, California." Behind the black and white drawing is a small watercolor of brown hills and desert landscape with sparse trees, outlines of barracks and powerlines. The sky is light blue with clouds. Black box with "HENRY FUKU HARA 43" written in 4 lines like a hanko stamp in BR corner.
