Postmarked Heart Mountain, Wyoming, April 10, 1945. 6-cent airmail stamp.
In lower left corner is written in ink, "Deceased Apr 23/45. Byron Burns, 1st Lt. Inf. Co. E, 442nd Inf. May 13/45." Purple stamp with finger pointing to return address with "return to sender. Verified 2628PD Co." Back of envelope is stamped May 30, 1945.
