DescriptionLetter to Stanley Hayami, APO New York, from his family (Father, Ma, Walt) in Heart Mountain, Wyoming, dated April 9, 1945. Handwritten in blue ink on cream colored paper, written on both sides. Family got his letter from France, are glad he is well, has enough to eat, and he is near his brother Frank in Italy (they had visited France together). Sister Grace came home to Heart Mountain and is staying there until they can move back to California (waiting for people to vacate their old home). They received his savings of $20/month but not the $25 Savings Bond. Letter wishes him well and hoped both brothers come home safe.
