DescriptionWatercolor on paper. Paper has rough cut edges. Horizontal watercolor on long, narrow paper. Over half of the painting is brown ground with rows of shrubs, bushes and tall green grasses. A clothes line is in the foreground with yellow, red, green, blue and purple "clothes" blowing in the wind. To the left are barracks in tan and outlined in brown. To the right are olive green mountains in the background. The sky is pale gray and pale blue. Trees in the background are bare. In lower right corner is a red box with "HENRY FUKU HARA" written on 3 lines like a hanko stamp and below the red box is written in red ink "Billowy Day" and "Manzanar, Calif."
