DescriptionHorizontal watercolor painting of landscape in shades of brown and blue. The lower half of the landscape is tall brown grasses and shrubs and a tall bare tree in dark brown with spots of dark green. A pale blue stream is between the tall grasses. 2 hills are outlined in the background in shades of blue, turquoise and pale blue. Above the hills in center of painting are white clouds. The upper half of the painting is a wash of light blue sky. Painting is on cream colored watercolor paper with perforated holes along entire right side edge (as if torn from a spiral bound tablet). Barely visible in LL corner are initials "SMA" written in pencil.
