Description1 photographic print : b&w ; Mourners gathered around the flower draped coffin of the deceased - funeral bouquets displayed in front of the coffin. Also wide structures (houses?) just behind and to the right side of those gathered. The black and white photo has been glued to a piece of heavy cardboard/black surface, allowing for a border of an inch plus on all four sides. Written on the verso, "Flu epidemic" Mrs. Hironaka (mother of four daughters) Shu, Hide, Shizuko & Mitsako January 7, 1919."
