DescriptionPiece of paper that appears to be a cover page for a packet of correspondence from 1942 and after.

This collection consists of more than fifty letters written by Koh Murai to his son Kotaro Murai (the donor's husband) spanning World War II from the elder Murai's arrest and incarceration in the Fort Missoula, Montana Justice Department Camp to a military facility, Camp Livingston, Louisiana, to a Department of Justice camp in Santa Fe, New Mexico to a Rohwer, Arkansas Concentration Camp and release after the war. Also included in the collection are three black and white photographs, a conference schedule, and one Japanese language book on Japanese American industry, edited by Koh Murai and published in 1940.
