DescriptionOn recto; One written paged letter from Koh Murai in Camp Livingston, Louisiana, it unfolds from the envelope to Kotaro Murai in Lincoln, Nebraska on March 13, 1943. Koh starts the letter by telling Kotaro that time is passing like Kotaro's arrow in archery practice, which is very fast but does not strike it's objective and has not heard from Kotaro for quite some time, he received a letter from Kotaro's mother in February, has secured $500 for Kotaro's education.
On verso of the letter on top center, "INTERNEE OF WAR" is typed; "Do not write here" is typed twice in English, German, Italian, and written in Japanese on middle and lower center. On lower right, red stamp reads "CENSORED / War Department / Camp Livingston Camp" and signed; 6 cent stamp attached
