Description(4) page letter to Mas Iwate from Tatsumi Iwate at Camp Crowder, Missouri on May 10, 1942. Tatsumi writes that on May 5th, about 60 Japanese Americans were transferred to Camp Crowder, Missouri and the camp is situated near the border line of Missouri and the State of Bazooka, that it was a short ride from Camp Robinson, that the barracks are so new that sawduest flies, that he is assigned to the Headquarters Detachment Station Complement, that the Colonel spoke with the Japanese Americans about what was on their minds, that he doesn't know how long they'll stay there, that many men are sick at heart from their treatment.
