DescriptionTwo (2) letters between Shigeo and Iwao Shimizu on June 21, 1947 and June 26, 1947. 1-page letter written to Iwao Shimizu in San Antonio, Texas, writes that he hopes his letter will not find Shimizu playing golf but attending to business, that he has received a letter from Mr. [Wayne] Collins on a fugitive warrant issues against Shigeo for an alleged violation, that the Department of Justice will examine the matter, that the department is notified of his wanting to register for the draft, and ends the letter with hoping the letter will serve in some way to any persons under similar circumstances. 1-page letter written to Shigeo from Shimizu mentioning that he is sending a short note letter back to inform Shigeo that he has received three of his letters, he hopes that Shigeo will gain immediate freedom from your present confinement.
