DescriptionTwo separate letter of appeals to the Attorney General, Tom C. Clark, of the Department of Justice from internees in Crystal City detention facility typed on green onionskin paper.

One (1) two page letter to the Attorney General on March 15, 1946. Mrs. Onyo Kobayashi writes about her husband, Makio Kobayashi, who is to be deported to Japan. She writes about her mental state if she and Makio were to be separated, her son who is serving in the U.S. Army, and the relationship between her son and husband.

One (1) three page letter and one page letter of personal history to the Attorney General on March 19, 1946. Mrs. Naka Higashida writes about the removal of her son, Sumio Higashida, and herself. She writes about her husband's paralysis and how the separation would impact them, as well as the community work she has accomplished in the United States.

One (1) one page letter of personal history of Rikimatsu Hideshima.
