DescriptionWatercolor on paper. Painting is centered on paper with wide blank border (4 1/2" border top and bottom, 6" border on sides). Rows of barracks in 3 sections. At top are yellow barracks with white roof on green ground (3 barracks and 1 double barracks). In middle section are yellow barracks with white roof on green ground (3 barracks, 1 double barracks, and 1 "L" shaped double barracks). On far right are a row of 5 brown barracks with white roof on tan ground. Across the road from the buildings is a large field with rusty brown rows for farming. Power lines are along the roads. Mountains in background. Trees in foreground and right side have green, gold and rusty brown foliage. A narrow garden area is between green spaces. The painting is signed and dated in pencil in BR corner "Henry Fukuhara 10-16-42".
