DescriptionWatercolor on paper. Paper has rough cut edges. Horizontal watercolor on paper. Workers are framing a wooden structure (barracks?). The structure is light brown, tan and golden yellow. It is open with buttresses supporting the sides. Several tall ladders lean against the frame with men on top. Men are also on the framework, on the flooring, and seated outside. Figures are all in brown or black. 3 large, bare trees are outside the structure. Trees are brown, gray and blue. The ground is tan and brown. The sky is turquoise and brown. In the background, barely visible, are rows of barracks in light tan.
