Description1 small gold and silver hued round pin with an eagle spreading wings within a circle that has vertical stripes along bottom. Known as the "Ruptured Duck", the pin was issued to discharged United States Army soldiers and worn over the right breast pocket, allowing the returning GI to wear his uniform home and not be ordered around by an officer.
