DescriptionOne letter addressed to Mollie from Miyeko dated August 30, 1942.;Aug. 30

Dear Molly:

We finally got to Wyoming. We left Pomona, Aug. 21 and reached Aug. 24. My first ride on the train, and it was swell. Good food. Chicken, turkey, ice cream every night.(dinner or supper time) Oh it was good with a capital "G."
Wyoming is O.K. but its windy once in a while and it thunders and lighting when its not even raining. The weather's queer. This place is large big.
I heard some from Santa Anita was coming.
Gee I hope Sandie comes, but not Kumiko.
I think Hollywood, San Jose, and the Union Church bunch are coming. I saw Haruko Nagahiro, but every time I see her she with her beau so I don't want to bother her, but next time I see her alone I'll tell her you said to write to h you. I always see her sister Chiyoko. How did you like your vacation at San Fransico. All I miss is the Beach. Also the kids I used to go
around with like you. Molly, you know my second cousins are here. My mother's cousin. Gee I didn't know I had any one here in L.A. They came from San Jose. They've got three boys and three girls. Am I glad to have a relative here in Wyoming.
Janice Noda + Mary Murakami always writes to me and I write back. Do you hear from Sandie, Junko, Mary, Jennie or any body eles.
Well I think I better close now.
Until you write
Love
Miyeko
