Dearest Molly:
Guess who this is? The ghost of See-da-eeeeeeee. Gee, I'm so sorry I didn't write sooner but it's so hard to settle down and write even one letter when you're so busy. Especially me. I hate to write letters because mine are so boring.
Well, how is the family? Is Teddy still living? I hope you're all in good health. Is Kenny still in Boston? Where is Atoy [sp]? We're all fine. Kenny is 3 years old and Barbara is 6 now. My father is leaving for Grand Junction, Colorado for seasonal work picking peaches. He's leaving this Thursday. About 100 men and boys are leaving for this job. Gee, over two thousand, almost three thousand have left camp.
Do you remember Nancy Miyeko Karakane in your French class? I go around with her. She lives two bara barracks away from me. She's about the prettiest & most popular girl in camp. She was real quiet in L.A. huh? Not any more. She's noisy & a lot of fun - good personaility. She always tells me she remembers the time we (you, Mary, & I) used to go in the benjo right before French and laugh & laugh. Do you remember too, "Niagra"? She tells me Miss Blau liked you a lot & you always used to talk her out of a test. She 's & her father are leaving for Chicago to join her sister th on the 17th. Susie Hattori, June Yoshino, Choo Choo Fujimoto are in Chicago too. Most of the people are going relocating to Colorado. The younger ones to Chicago. Tets Kojima is going to Boston.
Gee, I laughed so much when you told me about popping people on the head, collecting pennies, & sneaking on the street car. I could just picture you & your sweet innocent face.
You know, I wrote to Mary Ann Moiseve, Annabelle Sisiov, Janette Ladonin, Josephine Barla, Margaret Mendoza, & Gladys Kagarian a long time ago but they never did answer. How are they anyway? If ever you see them tell them to write.
Congratulations Molly! I heard you graduated with high honors - C.S. 7 I just knew you'd get it. I'm making a little something as a gift but it's kind of hard to make so it'll take a little while before I finish O.K.? If you took pictures & have an extra one I sure would like to have one.
Gee, I wish you could come down & visit me sometime. It's not so far from L.A. I know all of the kids' would like to meet you because I always talk about you to them. Especially Grace Setsuda, who lives right across from me. She's from Belmont Hi & used to live in Boyle Heights before moving out there. She knows Sandie, Junko, & Kazuko, & all the kids from that Japanese school because she used to go there.
Say, by any chance, are you engaged or married yet? All of the young kids seem to be getting engaged, married, or going into the service. I heard Ernet Loredo married Eddie Romero's sister and Bobby Jurado is engaged to a cute 15 yr old girl. Gee, what a shock.
I heard Bessie Scott was in the hospital. Sako wrote to her & we wondered why why she didn't answer. How is she now? Tell Mickey & Nat to write. They never did answer. Remember that man William Lacefield hit? Did he die? Is Mrs. Simpson still living? I'd like to know the block news if there is is an O.K.?
As the hep. cats say, "I'll plant you now & dig you later."

Sadae

P.S. The writing's kind of messy because I have a sore thumb.
