Description1 linoleum block of a woman wearing a polka dot dress with her hair tied back. She holds up a senninbari, or belt with a thousand stitches, to a ghostly outline of her son, who holds his arm up in salute and dressed in a soldier's uniform. White crosses appear in the background. The woman stands before a barbed wire fence. There is a sign in the bottom right corner that reads (backwards) "BLOCK 28" and a guard tower in the top left corner. Prints of this block can be found under 2015.2.92.
